Also, if you want to start modifying, you can also go with a 325is. The "i" is the best stock motor because of it's good torque AND hp. The "s" is important because of the LS diff, tighter suspension, and I personally like the leather Recaros.


Hi Folks,

Was wondering if some of you 3-series experts had an opinion about SCCA autocross and the 3 series. My question is which 3 series is most favorably classified for SCCA Solo II? 318, 325, 238?

I ask this because I am thinking about purchasing a used E30 soley for autoX.
