TURBO 325IS????? (archive)

I have a 1988 bmw 325is and I am considering a turbo upgrade. The car has all paper work and runs and sounds brand new. I know the 8.8 comp. ratio is nearly tailor-made for one. Who makes a good turbo outfit for an E30 BMW? What should I look out for and will $6-9,000 get it done? Thanks to all that can help.
