of the radiator. They kick in at different temps. One is the low speed fan switch the other is a high temp switch which makes the fan turn on full blast at high temps. It sounds like one or both of your switches are not working. They make lower temp switches that kick in earlier, that way you move the low temp switch to the high temp position and put the lower temp switch in. This should help in your situation. Make sure your fan clutch is ok too. My car never uses the electric fan. And I have 205K on the original radiator. Go to Bavauto for that lower temp switch.have a great weekend.

LOOK!! I HAVE CHANGED EVERYTHING POSSIBLE THE RADIATOR
IS 9 MONTHS OLD, NEW WATER PUMP,CLUTCH FAN, RADIATOR CAP, THERMASTAT. WHEN I'M DRIVING IN TOWN OR AT A LIGHT
IT STARTS TO CREEP UP TOWARDS THE RED ZONE. BUT AS LONG
AS I'M MOVING ITS NORMAL,AROUND THE HALFWAY PIONT OR
LOWER. I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE WIRE THAT PLUGS INTO THE SIDE OF THE RADIATOR HAD TWO OF THE WIRES BROKEN OFF. COULD THIS BE MY PROBLEM? WHEN IS THE ELECTRIC FAN
SUPPOSE TO COME ON? IS IT ONLY WHEN THE A/C IS ON.
