The black plastic trim that runs along the bottom should be slid towards the rear. If you just pop them up they have a habit of breaking the white plastic retainers. Same with the rear trim if you have a four door but i think there is a small screw thru it under the rear seat that has to be removed before sliding it. Once these are out you can pull away the carpet. Pulling your front seat isn't neccessary. Work out at least the last trim retainer and slide the trim back on then pop the last one in. I've never been able to slide it back on all of them. Good luck.

Well its realy a no brainer. And yes removal of the back seat is a good idea. And you are installing this in your trunk. And you just have to pull the deck ,plug the wire in from the back and route the cable down the pass. side remove the kick panel and the door sill and tuck away and hide and put the end of the lead thru to the trunk. and locate where you want it. Plug it in.If you need power you have batt. right there.Enjoy and hope I helped.

Peace,
Robert

Robert,

Already very helpful. I was referring to the front seat. I already know the drill for the back seat. I'll assume since you didn't mention it that I don't need to remove the front seat.

But what I'm having trouble with is the kick panel and door sill. Do they just pop out? Do you pull strait up?

Thanks

BE
