It appears I have a short in the wiring. I traced both of the harness (cold injector and thermo switch) to a large set of wires going towards the ECU. I dont see in the Bentley where exactly the wiring goes.

Hopefully someone has disected that large wire harness before.

My summary:

1) voltage when ignition is turned on at the harness for the thermo switch.

2) thermo switch tests OK for continuity cold, no continuity when warm.

3) cold injector "clicks" when battery volts directly applied.

4) no volts at injector harness even when I jumper the two leads on the thermo switch harness.

Sounds like this may be a "stealer" service item :(
