help my speedo stopped working!! (archive)

I was driving this morning, getting on the highway, i quickly sped up to about 80 and then all the sudden the speedo stopped working, but just the speedo, tach, gas and temp still work fine. I checked the connection to the rear but it still is not working. anyone have any ideas?? its a 86 325
