My sister just bought a 91 318is. I was wondering, 1) Is a full service necessary? The car runs pretty well, although it seems to need new rotors. Would you give a mechanic the green light to do all that is necessary? 2) Is the radio a standard DIN chassis? 3) Is it safe to drive for skiing if you get 4 dedicated snow tires? 4) Do you think $8300 for this car with only fog lights as an option was a good deal (46500 miles)? I also question whether the odometer was turned back as the paint and wheels seem somewhat faded.
