I am considering trading for a 90 325is 5 speed. The car is stock, clean, has had 3k oil changes 20-w50 Castrol GTX
(this is a Florida car). The timing belt and waterpump have been changed. The only thing that I am aware of that does not work is the onboard computer.
The mileage is 95k and the car has never seen snow. What is a reasonable price to pay? What can I expect to get in terms of performance, top speed, fuel mileage etc? Thanks for any help you can offer.
Bill
If the car is in very good shape it would go for
around $7K to $8K here in So Calif, probably a
little less in Florida. Road tests from 1987
had the E30 325is doing 0-60 in about 7.5 seconds
with a top speed of 128mph. My 89 gets around
18-19 mpg in city driving, 28 mpg at a constant
70 mph, but 25 mpg at 80-95 mph. YMMV :-)
