Several months ago I bought a 1989 325iX with 127k miles from the original owner, my neighbor. It is in great shape. I paid only $6000 (midpoint of retail and trade-in value) - I think I got a great deal. I don't yet have any comments on maintenance costs, although I am told they can run higher than other E30s due to some unique parts.
