Thanks, but no thanks... It's really not worth it to me if it doesn't have a manual transmission (no offense intended).

We're getting ready to sell our '90 Silver 325i 2-door automatic. We're doing some maintenance on it to get it ready. Don't want to sell, but we only need one car right now ('97 328i) so we figure someone else should have the pleasure of driving the 90 model. We're in Houston, TX. Let us know if you're interested.
Thanks.

I've been looking around for a used car to use as my primary car, something that would cost less than $8,000 or so. I'm a BMW fan, and I was wondering if it would be feasible for me to get something like a 1990 325i. I don't want to spend much on matenience, which I realize will probably cost a lot. What do you recommend? Is there any place out there to get cheaper parts? What was the best year for this type of car, and are they typically reliable?
Thanks for the help! My e-mail address is benm@rollanet.org
