check your sensors in you radiator and your oil sensor.
Remove them and brige them, then switch the car off. Switch the car on again and see if the overheat goes away, if not thengood luck to you...
A warning light just above the rear vision mirror on my '89 E30 318is keeps coming up. It reads "OVERHEAT". I've checked the oil and water levels, both of which are normal, and the temperature gauge isn't in the red zone either, so what exactly is overheating?
