I have had the same problem. Only mine does it mostly at high RPM not all the time. If the realy to the oxygen sensor relay goes out it tricks the DME to thinking the car is running lean and it causes a rich condition. There is enough fuel comming through to put black spots on the rear of the car. Spots that can only be waxed off. I fixed the relay and the smoking stopped, so did the black spots. Tail pipe stays much cleaner too. Try it. You might need an oxygen sensor too. I forgot to mention mine was new.Chris
I have a 86 325es,cold start or warmed up it burns rich, and a little bit of constant white smoke comming out of the tail pipe..
Can some of you more experienced BMW owners Give me any sugestions of what to look for first.
I would appreciate any input.
