where'd you find that? it looks unique...

I'm currently looking at a 1988' 325ix 5 speed with 108k, she wants $8500 for it. She just replaced timing belt, timing belt tensioner, frt eng seals, housing gaskets, valve cover gasket, in the last month. There are a few small things like the antenna motor is not working, the a/c needs a recharge (is this a big deal?) and the passenger power window sticks a little bit. Am i getting a good deal?
Let me know

Matt,
For persepctive, I just bought my 88 ix 5-speed two months ago @ 113,000 miles with new clutch, drive axles, brakes, sway bar links, etc., exterior and interior in great shape for $6500.00.

$7000 - $8000+ seems to be the going price for these cars in excellent shape; make sure you have a good mechanic look it over first, since there are so many more things to go wrong on an ix and they are much more costly to repair. If you can get the service records that's always a plus. I'd be curious why she put all the money into those repairs only to sell it - doesn't mean there's a problem, just curious is all.

Hope it works out for you.
