I'm not one to street race mostly because it's dangerous to innocent folks. But I was out zipping through the country roads today when I looked in my rear view and suddenly got a mirror full of black e36. I was only doing about 50 and a sharp right hander was coming up so I decided to drop it in 3rd and see what was on his mind. As I apexed the turn hard on the gas waiting to look for oncoming traffic.. I began letting the car drift to the left lane of the road carrying as much speed as I could. As I wound third gear I saw the e36 drafting me hard just as the broken yellow lines began. Shit! I took fourth gear at 6500 rpm as he made his move off my left quarter panel and I thought for sure he was coming by. But as I revved hard through 95 on my way to 100 he began to fade and tucked back in behind me. We played at a more sane speed for another few miles before he turned off. I couldn't help but laugh as I wondered what he thought about the grrl in the 325es.
