Buy someone's instructions

You're paying a minimum ~1500 for the motor, a couple hundred for the 525i oil pan, another couple hundred for the radiator, another couple hundred for all the mounting garbage, go spend 149 bucks to learn how to install it correctly

Zionsville autosport's project orca CD-rom I've seen it, it's amazing, it's got EVERYTHING you need to know in it. No, it isn't cheap, but neither is this conversion you're doing.

These boards are entertaining, and sometimes good for a laugh, but I wouldn't trust 99% of the "mechanical advice" I see on here. There is so much misinformation and generally clueless people on here that I would never even consider embarking on a multi-thousand dollar project with the information I'd get from here

Can anyone give me any tips etc. before I embark on my M50 engine conversion.

No, I'm not interested in "buying" someone's instructions. That's what shared information and message boards are for.

Any information is much appreciated.

Regards,

Steve
