Hello guys, I own a 89 320i and it's running really good, except that I hear a rattling, roaring sound (just like a truck)when i'm accelerating and that only under 2000rpm. I' m not sure but I think it's coming from the drivetrain(bar?). Is it possible that it's the transmission(because it needs to be replaced).
Any suggestions concerning this problem?

Thanks in advance, David

Hi David, you may want to check the following:
The driveshaft (Guibo)
The rear wheel bearings

You may also want to change all drivetrain fluids.

Hope this helps, Tony
