2 questions for Winter.. Sunroof seal and battery (archive)

1) The sunroof while driving while move slightly (when closed) and allow a annoying wind noise. This is a crank handle sunroof in an 87. If I over crank it will again seal but with the crank handle in the closed position it will "re open" and I have to re-adjust.

Is there an adjusting procedure for this, or is the seal going bad? The seal looks OK from the top.

2) I have a tube for drainage coming from the quarter panel by the battery that appears to empty into the battery tray. Is this normal? My tray is quite rusted and I was going to do some winter rustproofing when I noticed this drain tube.
