I have the same sort of problem. Happens in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears at about 15 mph and is worst the harder I accelerate. Shouldn't be the tranny as it's in more than one gear, I've checked the Guibo coupling and driveshaft. I've talked to lots of people and know one knows what it is. The only real possibilities are CV joints (I know they have a little play to them) or bearings (very doubtful). If you find out what it is please let me know.

Hey guys, I need some help here from you pro's. I drive a 89 320i and have the following problem;

Whenever I'm accelerating in 2nd or 3th I notice a slight vibration at the back of my car (only at low speeds). I'm sure it's not my diff. Some help would be gratefull.

Thanks.
