When i got my 86 325 i emailed bmw directly and they sent me a manual for free :) About the Tach, 1st is a very quick shift, 2nd is about 15mph, 3rd- 50mph, 4th 65mph and 5th goes to about 105mph... Now these are not redline but just what i have found as optimal shift zones... Hope this helps :)

I just bought an 1985 325 coupe. It did not come with an owner's manual and I would like to know where I can find one, online possibly? The tachometer does not work on the car either so I was wondering at what speeds I would be nearing the redline.
I am also new to driving a stick so any tips on driving this specific car or in general would be helpful.
Thanks
