From experience of having all different types (14's thru 17's) of wheels on various e30's, I can offer the following comments:

-17's are approx. the same price as 16's and greater tire selection (225/45/16's are not the most common)
-you can buy some really light 15's which make a huge difference in how quick the car feels. 16's and 17's are typically heavy unless you spend the big $$$
-I'm sick of buying expensive tires, so I'm going back to some superlight 15's.

sorry no pics, but can tell you that M replicas with 25mm offset look really good, especially if you try squeezing 235/40/17 tires on them.


can people post pics of e30's with 15 and 16" wheels so I can get an Idea of what the sizes look like...
