I just put my rack in which i bought from junk yard, i had 87 325e which used to leak a lot of power steel fluid (ATF) from the boots.
just remember to look for a good one which don't have signal of leaking.
i know it might be a gamble, but it works for me.
i think it would take a professonal mechanic 2.5-3 to take out and replace that thing.
the hard thing about putting in the rack is that u have to jack up the engine little high or bang on the 2 tab which hold the rack, also putting the steer column into the rack since u can
't push from above,
Volvo used same brand rack as BMW, but they designed much simple and easy to replace it.
