For some reason my car just started to smell like coolant in side once the car warms up. It's not leaking anywhere that I can see... The smell goes away after say 15 minutes. What could be the cause?

Mike

I hate to say it, but could be the core. And no, your not going to see any leaks because its small now, more commonly called a steam leak-it evaporates once hot. Make several sniff tests before to make sure its the heater core or it could be a hose leaking between the fire wall inside and the heater core. One would see a trail of sediment from the leak downward. But, if you smell it in the ductwork, I'd suspect the core.
