problem I have experienced was the coolant temp
sensor.
Use your on board Motronic Diagnostic circuit.
Turn the key to on position (do not turn over the engine). Depress the gas pedal to the floor 5 times, then sit back and the motronics will tell you where you have a faulty circuit.
You will have a long red check egine light that will preceed the code. Next there will be a series of flashes. If you get 1-4-4-4 (that is on flash seperated by pause, 4 flashes separated by pause etc.) all circuits test good. If you get any other series of flashes it will incicate what circuit is faulty.
Check it out and tell me what you get and I can tell you what the problem is.
