The bearings have nothing to do with the removal of the half shaft. Just remove the 6 allen type bolts that secure each end of the CV joint and remove from car. That easy.


Honestly - how do you remove the half shaft through the rear bearing without a tool? Does it split at the velocity joint and you only have to push eight inches of shaft through the bearing?
