I love my new (1987, 114K) 325is, but have a few questions.

1. The rear end groans at low speeds when turning tight corners. My e34 does this a little too, but nothing like this. Anything I can/should do?

2. The idle is really rough, but seems to run OK otherwise. BTW, muffler seems to be rotting, and I thought it might be clogging, but it seems to run OK at higher RPM so I think I may rule this out. Anything I can/should do?

3. Water seems to be leaking around the right rear tailight (water in battery area). What can I do?

4. Clutch pedal seems a little heavy and not really progressive. Is this normal e30 or is there something which can be done?

Thanks to all for any responses to any of these questions. Looking forward to the many mods to come.
