Can it be done? Certainly. Time and money are the only obstacle.

You WILL have to either fabricate the mounting brackets OR drill & tap new mounting points. The e36 seat is NOT plug-n-play. forget about the rear seat swap. cheaper and easier to to a custom reupholster.

And those e36 seats are heavy. If you want the looks/comfort only, let us know how the project proceeds. If you're looking to save weight, consider your favorite aftermarket mfr.
