are black inserts available to replace the chrome ones that fit in the front and rear windscreens rubbers? or should i just paint them? and how easy is it to remove them?
also the chrome trim on the doors etc. are black versions
available instead or should i paint these also?
the car is black and the chrome looks dated now.
Thanks, Matt

I used satin finish black spray paint, sprayed a pool into a foil pie pan, used a flat edged artists brush and painted it right on the (formerly) chrome color locking strip on windshield. Of course, clean all traces of wax and grime off first. It flowed on easily, no need for masking, took about ten minutes and used materials I had on hand. It's held up for over a year without any problem.
