Hi guys. I've loved BMWs for years now, and its time I get a new daily driver. I wouldnt mind buying a 89-92 318 or 325. But the only ones I can afford are pretty high in mileage.

My ? is how reliable are these cars? I know I've seen a ton of BMWs with @ least over 130k miles on them. But seriousley how are they? Are the engines good for that long, or have most of the peeps, dumped some major $ into keeping it running. I'm looking for a good every day car that is pretty darn reliable. Hopefully the 318-325 fits in there somewhere?

My ? is to all u 318-325 owners. What do you think? From past experience with your cars how are they? Any major fix's or repairs? What should I look out for when purchasing or looking @ a BMW? What are some common repairs and things to go wrong?

Any help would be highly appreciated
