the driver's seat fore-n-aft lever on iX models is relocated slightly to accomodate the bulge in the transmission tunnel necessitated by the awd's transfer case.

regular seats into an iX have clearance trouble with the lever that usually prevents full aft adjustments.

iX seats into another e30 should be no problem. the bolt pattern is identical.
