Fuel Gauge & Brake Pad Sensors Wiring Diagram (archive)

I have an 87 325IC and am trying to troubleshoot problems with my fuel gauge and brake lining warning light. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for these or know where I can obtain one ?

The brake lining light on the dash stays on all the time. I have checked both brake pad sensors and they are ok. Something is not allowing the current to complete the circuit. Somewhere along the wiring path there must be
a broken wire which is causing this problem.

The fuel gauge on the instrument cluster is not functioning properly (the obc fuel readings are ok). My fuel gauge reads full when the tank is full and half empty when the tank is empty. However the low fuel light does come on when the tank is empty while the fuel gauge reads half full. The resistance coming from the fuel level sensor is ok. Somewhere along the wiring path there must be a short or break in the wiring.

I appreciate any input...

Thanks,

Doug
