I am in the middle of replacing the control arms on the front of my '91 318is. Thing is, I can't get the new *^%^%$ing bushings on. For the love of GOD how can I do this? The mechanics at the dealer suggested that I lubricate the arms and the bushing with Turpentine and then noted that I would "be amazed at how easy they go on."

I have done that and after an hour of swearing, the only amazing thing is that I smell like a distillery and am apparently too stupid to get this task done.

Anyone have a tip?

Thanks so much.
