what's a 6cyl diff? the M3 came with 4.10 diffs, the newer 325is automatics also came with 4.10, the manuals and the older automatics came with 3.73

Also, I'm not sure of the ratio of my stock 318is, so what's the best for street use?

The 91 318is came with a 4:10 diff from the factory. Some came with LS, mine did. The M3 and the 325's all came with 6cyl diffs (even though the M3 is a big 4). The 318is has a smaller diff.
