I have recently found a running 1984 318i with Automatic and about 90,000 acutal miles on it, however it has some rust , not real bad and is in need of paint, also has a stalling problem and looks like the wiring has been tampered with. Interior is fair.The owner is asking 400$ for this. Is this a fair price?, i like BMW's and like working on them and this looks like a good project. I just want to make sure what the going price is for this one.


My friend just bought an '84 318i with 130,000 miles. It has some rust and could be considered a lemon because of all the problems it has been having recently. He bought it from a dealer for 3,000 cdn. (I think he got ripped off)
