At $400.00, you could try to fix it, and use it as a daily driver. If things go south, part it. The parts alone are worth $400.00.

I have recently found a running 1984 318i with Automatic and about 90,000 acutal miles on it, however it has some rust , not real bad and is in need of paint, also has a stalling problem and looks like the wiring has been tampered with. Interior is fair.The owner is asking 400$ for this. Is this a fair price?, i like BMW's and like working on them and this looks like a good project. I just want to make sure what the going price is for this one.
