check out tech articles and archives at both e30.net and unofficialbmw.com. It takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs per side. Make sure you heat the old bushings up until they sizzle like bacon all the way around and they'll slide right out with the home made puller. The hardest part is getting the subframe realigned; take your time and use several jackstands and floorjacks.Good luck!

I need advice on the easiest way to replace my rear sub-frame mounts. I have new one's already and I want to knock it out real soon! My car is an 89 325I.
