I am currently looking at buying a 88 and up 325is for my main vehicle. I am very familar with this model and I am wondering 1. What modifications besides a cam, header, chip, 4.11 diff, and possible throtle body mods are advised?
2. I have seen a set of factory? BMW 6 spoke E30 15 inch rims on a 92 325ic that the owner says are factory. Am I the only one? If, not what models and years had these rims they are so sweet!
3.The other car I have been looking at is a 944 turbo or S2, how would a properly built 325is with 200 horses compare? I know the S1's are 180 horse, S2's are 208, and turbos are 217. But, they seem a little problematic for my tastes. So, a car I am more familar with (E30) fit me.
4.What is the stock horses for a 325is 88 and up from the factory?

Thanks, for the help yall, and I did look in the achives really well and didn't find an answer one.

Go with the 325is, it'll be a better car in the long run...hands down. I've admired the 944 for years but always decided against them based on negative experiences my pals had. I'm on my fourth bimmer (88 325is) and am VERY happy with the car. I've swapped the OEM plugs and wires for the performance replacements offered by Bavarian. I also slapped on the K&N powerflow unit from Bavarian. Next comes a Conforti chip and a tri-flow exhaust and the car will be up to my spec. As stated earlier, I should be pushing 190 hp and plenty of torque too. Hope this helps you out!
