Unfortunately a repainted car kills the value. A repainted car in a color other than what it came with (not what was available at the time) REALLY kills the value. In order to do a repaint in a different color right, you'd have to spend some $10K. I'd say with the level of neglect that you describe, the car has more work needed not to mention some hidden body work. Sounds like you have a parts car my friend. Just my .02 worth.

I'm buying a new car, so this one has to go. A majority of the miles are highway miles. It has been painted white by the prvious owner. The old color is red. Everything is in good working condition, with the exception of the glovebox latch, two dash lights, and the inside dome lights. I just put in a new Sony CD player w/remote control, Phoenix Gold amplifier and Phoenix Gold 10 inch subs in the trunk. I'm willing to let it all go with the car. The tires have alot of tread left on them. If you have any questions, please contact me via email.
