I have the MSDS headers, my mechanic said it was pretty tight fit where it fits by the heat shield that covers the r/s engine mount. I had mine Jet Hot coated (it really does look great and keep the heat inside the headers and not under the hood) I also removed the spark plug heat shield since now the Jet Hot coat is cooler and you can see the headers now. The exhuast flow is much better now, my Remus used to be pretty quiet but now it is louder and deeper. Not as loud as Borla or B+B, but about the same as Supersprint. The engine also now sounds like it has a hotter camshaft in it. I think the exhaust flow has changed the way the engine feels. Engine is faster reving but I think the torque down low is less. Top end power is much better. The engine now wants to zing up to the redline. This engine is soooo much smoother than my s14-M3.

I was thinking about buying headers from bav auto or some other place and was wondering what is involved for installation besides letting the engine cool. Is it pretty easy or do you have to do something major like drop the transmission or something. Please help!

Evan
