'89 325iS "stretch bolts" on head (identification) (archive)

Can anyone tell me how to tell if the stretch bolts on the car I am looking at have been replaced with the non-stretch type (I see a "vambus 12.9" stamping on them)

Are stretch bolts such a big deal or can I leave them in the head and run with it?
