The 88 325is still had the alluminum bumpers, but they were smaller and a bumper conversion could be done. The 89 325is was my favoite year, it didn't have the steering wheel with the airbag, it also had the better ecu, and ellipsoid headlights. The 90 and 91 model cars both had the first generation airbags, and the different headlights.

'89 was my personal favorite, but everyone is different.

What is the best year of 325is to buy. I am looking something that has all the latest updates, like the headlights, small bumpers, best interior. My head is telling me it is a 91, but are the 88 to 90 cars the same??

Please advise.
