I understand your problem- Its those damn plastic-tabbed clips, which really dont grab sh@t
after a decade of high-speed motoring.

To remove them;
1) Completely remove the lip spoiler
2) With the phillips-head of your BMW screwdriver,
gently poke-out the two plastic locktabs, on each individual clip(about 10 total)
3) Once the locktabs fall-off, slide the clip to remove it
4) The car should have NO spoiler clips, when replacing them with the five MINI C-CLAMPS, found at most hardware stores
5) Installation points are illustrated below, from the BOTTOM of car;

Tighten each clamp firmly, using circular felt
pads(the kind that tables have at the bottom of their feet- to protect hardwood surfaces)at the contact points. Start with the center clamp, and work your way out towards each side. The result is a clean, solid fit, that looks better than OEM.

I have 88-91 front spoiler style. I'm have problems with the front lip spoiler staying on. It tends to pop of from the clamps when going up a hill. Even if go slowly over dips it come a losse. Is there any tape, etc that could hold the lip in place.

Thanks Matt
