WORST CASE: No Oil pressure, due to dry sump pump failure....DONT START THE CAR until you can be absolutely certain the sump fails to splash oil up into your valvetrain.
*WHEW* CASE: Your oil sending unit is SHOT. But, dont let this signalling device rest you in your laurels- MAKE SURE THE OIL CIRCULATES! If oil saturates this small one-wire device- replace ASAP
BEST CASE: Your SI battery inside your dash went south. An intermittently-charging SI battery can cause all kinds of havoc to your dummy lights randomly ANYTIME>
WITHOUT STARTING THE CAR- Start troubleshooting the BEST CASE diagnosis, and work your way up(if applicable) God-speed to you!

I disconnected my battery to clean the well of some corrosion and when I hooked it back up the Engine Oil Light on the upper panel came on. Plenty of oil and cannot figure out the problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks
