Conventional or coil over...... (archive)

I'm doing a little suspension homework before making any decisions that may come back to haunt me later....

My question is:

Do I buy the conventional suspension (Bilsteins, H&R springs, adj. camber plates, strut brace, aluminum shock braces) or just go with a coil over system?

Like most of us, I'll be driving the car daily and take it to the occasional driving school. Oh, it's an 88 325is.

Thanks up front.

Aaron.
