Okay, normally when one activates the turn signal it goes click....click....click....click....click, and the light blinks, right? Okay. Now, my 325 *sometimes* goes click....click....click....click....click (like normal). And, *sometimes* it goes Clickclickclickclickclickclick!! And, *sometimes* it goes click..........click.........click..click.......click. And, *sometimes* it goes ...............click.......... And, sometimes it doesn't do a damn thing at all.
There is no pattern whatsoever to its maddness. The direction doesn't matter, and the hazard lights do the exact same thing. When it doesn't click, the lights don't blink (of course). I think my car is possessed. Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance.
Mike
Make sure you are using the silver base bulbs from the dealer. Reproduce the problem and check to see is a bulb or two is not flashing. If so, replace. Clean all sockets and bulb bases. Finally check out the ground points (Brown wires in the front of the engine compartment). Last gasp - flasher unit.
