There's one obvious clip. Simply slide it aside and then pry and slide the front trim piece off. The backseat's side window trim is integral to a piece of body molding. both are held in place with simple, pressure clips. Just pry the molding piece out careully using your fingertips. Hint, new clips make the replacement easier.

And the 318is trim is anondized rather than powder coated. either treatment costs far less than the factory's part.
