I have a similar low roar from the rear. It does sound like a wheel bearing but could we get more specific information on the most likely source and fix.

Hi,

I just purchase a Canadian 325is today for $3800.00 with 200,000 km on the oddometer. The car is in OK shape for the age. I've own a 325is & 325i for the past 5 years only to be sold for a new 328i (2000). But I have always missed my 325is, different driving spirit compare to my 328i (2000). I have some roaring hum coming from the back I'm suspecting the differential, wheel bearing or muffler. Does any body have this kind of problem? If it is the differential, where can I get a use one and possibly how much?

Thanks,
Romulo
