I just bought a 325e for my first car (i'm 16) and i have been wondering about the stock performance of this machine. I haven't got the car yet due to sad period of events in my family. So i haven't been able to drive it. I was wonder, and this is a typical teen question, does it have good power? Can you spin the tires (on asphalt) easily? I've been taking crap from my friends who own american cars (mustang 4cyl, and camaro 6cyl) about how BMW sucks. They don't seem to realize the heritage and fun of a BMW. I'm just wondering w/ 121 BHP stock if i can run w/ 4cyl Mustangs and such cars? I have to get a jo so i can buy some performance parts for my new car. I think i'm opting for a chip first of all. Go from 121 hp to 141 hp and 170 lbs to 190lbs. What things have you found that hampers the performance? I want to buy aftermarket things but i don't want to spend money and have the car fail. I want to lower it w/ some springs and get some new wheels. Well i think i'm going to work a European Motorworks in Iowa as a car jockey so i might be able to get some cheap parts. Thanks for your help. As soon as i get my car i will post pics.
