Wow I'm surprised to see it look so good! I've read about people doing this but always thought they were crazy for doing so, but your car looks great, it almost makes me want to do mine... I'm worried about the paint not sticking perminately, nothing would look worse than bits of crome showing though... If you can post another comment after a few months to let us know if it's still there...

I finally got to doing this.I blacked out all the trim including the windshield liner.I didnt remove anything.just taped everything up with no problems.I even painted the vent grills (looked toasted)under the wipers,and the wiper arms.I also had to go through some different paints until I found one that best matched front trim.flat black rust-oleum!!!! hope it stays there .....I think it looks a lot better.if you want to see the before pics:::
