It will not work. You could get a M3 motor then convert it to 2.5 then transplant it into your car. Either way it snot really worth it. Dropping an e36 engine might be easier and more worthwhile. You cannot convert a 318 into a 2.5, that i know of. You may be able to increase its displacement with similar mods, but i'd think 2.5 is pushing it. You can get a used e30 M3 motor/tranny for 4-6k.

The 2.7 you are refering to is based on a 325 engine.


I never said nor plan to use my M10 because it isnt possible. I DO know that! I was refering to what specifically BMP did to their E30. Thats what I want to do.

I originally was asking about the conversion kits and what they intel but I am in no way confused.
