OK - Tell me if I'm right and correct me if I'm wrong:

1991 - first year with the small bumpers (manual top)
1992 - first year with power top (last year of e30 cabrio)

Finally, where are the best places on the web to
place a "wanted" ad?

Thanks.

Tom, I have a 93 325iC and just bought locally here in NC. The car has 50K miles and the guy did the timing belt, water pump, drive belts, plugs, etc before the sale. Its great and I had a thorough inspection prior to purchase.

One additional thought is to figure out the A/C configuration. Mine has the newer refrigerant but some of the earlier have the R-12. I don't think one is better than the other, but depending on where you live it can get expensive.

I was in Wilmington NC this weekend and saw two 325iC for sale (one 90 and one 89).

Keep looking and get a feel for what style you want. The power top is a bit tricking, but its cool and convenient.

I was most interested in the condition and mileage and this board let me know of all the trouble areas to inspect (headbolts) prior to purchase.
